i’m sorry but this is just incredibly ignorant. tumblr is all about “be nice to everyone and don’t generalize!!1!1!” but when it comes to shit like this suddenly you’re hypocritical? typical. surely, a lot of rich people can be snobs and quite frankly, dicks, to the average person, but i’ve met more rich people that were the most compassionate individuals than the ones that were on the other side of the spectrum. on top of that, when a child of a rich person doesn’t know how to manage money properly it’s fucking obvious inheriting a large sum of it will be a problem. but no, tumblr can’t accept the fact that a child with thousands of dollars could stray down the wrong path and that having a lot of money can mean demise to a person. THAT’S why they give them the talk, because they don’t want their children to fuck up all of the money on who knows what and be spoiled little brats. it’s like if you were around 4 and got 50 dollars to buy whatever you wanted, you’d probably spend it all on toys and candy, but if you were given the talk beforehand you might’ve saved it for something else in the future. please stop pretending like just because rich people exist they have no problems and that the only reason their opinion doesn’t matter is because they’re rich. you don’t know them, you don’t know who they are.
